==Grading==
As like most rhythm games, a grade is given to players for achieving certain scores. It was initially available during the location tests for [[AC pnm 20|pop'n music 20 fantasia]], and was made official in [[AC pnm Usaneko|pop'n music うさぎと猫と少年の夢]]. The scoring was split into eight levels:
{|class="wikitable" border="1px" style="background:#ccccee; font-size:90%; text-align: center; margin: 1em auto 1em auto"
|-
!style="background:#aaaaee; text-align: center;" width="60px"|Grade
!style="background:#aaaaee; text-align: center;" width="150px"|Score Range
|-
| S || > 98,000
|-
| AAA || 95,000 - 97,999
|-
| AA || 90,000 - 94,999
|-
| A || 82,000 - 89,999
|-
| B || 72,000 - 81,999
|-
| C || 62,000 - 71,999
|-
| D || 50,000 - 61,999
|-
| E || < 49,999
|}
As an addition requirement, AA grades or higher requires a stage clear. If the player fails the stage but scored more than 90,000, the player will instead be awarded an A grade.
