As for DM, everyone writes songs that make them feel good. They must be enjoying themselves. That's why I wanted to write a song with a slower tempo. But then I got anxious and started speeding it up. The intro guitar is Beatles-like. The rhythm after it gets faster is a deadly Diana Ross & the Supremes pattern. Thomas particularly likes this song, and he's been nagging me to make it a single cut (laughs).
