* Although from beatmania IIDX 2nd style, Shine On does not appear on the [[beatmania maniac-tracks from IIDX 2ndstyle, Yebisu MIX, Dancing Stage featuring TRUE KiSS DESTiNATiON]] album with the other 2nd style KONAMI original songs. It instead appeared on the [[beatmania IIDX 3rd style Original Soundtracks]] album seven months later.
* Shine On received LIGHT charts in [[AC 3rd style|beatmania IIDX 3rd style]].
* According to Keiichi Ueno on his now defunct [http://mp.i-revo.jp/user.php/ueno/entry/49.html i-revo blog], he wanted to include both Shine On and [[Bad boy]] in [[Rewind!]], but he did not due to Don Katsumoto's (ドン勝本) death in 2007, as he introduced both Shorai and [[vivi]] to Keiichi Ueno.

It's been a while since soul was included.<br>
In the somewhat sad melody, the gentle singing vocals feel more soulful.<br>
For this kind of tune, the degree of difficulty is higher than before.<br>
The difficulty level in ANOTHER is quite high, so please be careful.

(Overlay animator comments)

Commentary by [[Takayuki Ishikawa|dj TAKA]]:
If you can play this without getting POOR, the dancing woman's animation turns around and feels quick.<br>
This song was made in a tight schedule, and it was the last animation I worked on, so I was supposed to do something like spinning hands, but I ran out of time.<br>
Unlike other videos, the button press animations (note: overlay animations) had 16-colors, so I had trouble keeping them simple.<br>
I guess that's about it?

This is the first time I've heard Seoul music in years. It has a soulful tone to it in its own right, with singing vocals to match it. This is the kind of tune that hasn't been known to have a high degree of difficulty, but the another's difficulty is fairly high, so please be careful.
