This Game Is Still Online

This page states that "eAMUSEMENT support for MÚSECA 1+1/2 ended on July 31st, 2018". This is false as Museca's online support is still going and never ended. In fact, even the Museca 1 server is still up, just in case anyone wants to do a late score transfer or look back in nostalgia or something.

RemyWiki's DanEvo page makes the same error. DanEvo is also still online, I just checked today. (November 10, 2019)

Looking at other information, it sounds like the eAmusement Participation versions (aka any machines that did not get an offline kit) won't boot, but the offline kits can still connect. However, this reverted back to the monthly fee type thing (or whatever was done prior to eAmusement Participation). However, the games have not gotten any updates since then, so there probably aren't very many arcades keeping the games online. Also, from what I'm reading, the Korean version of Museca 1+1/2 cannot go online at all.

All this is moot for BeatStream, of course, since that game never received an offline kit (Yes, I know it wasn't mentioned in the previous comment).

As an aside, data can still be transferred even after the Play Data section for the previous game in a series goes out. I've seen people do IIDX transfers well after the "eAmusement support ended" date. That phrasing seems odd to me anyway, with all of the games getting online updates to the next version these days (except US DDR and hardware updates). --Thunderbird (talk) 02:57, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
