Blah blah blah.
These songs are written in red instead of black in the Select Music Screen.
==== FINAL STAGE ====
Standard Mode:
Getting an A on any song (on any Dance Level except BEGINNER) before the FINAL STAGE unlocks a special song for the FINAL STAGE, On The Break. The FINAL STAGE-only song difficulty will be same as the difficulty that the A was obtained on. In order to have more difficulty choices, multiple A's can be obtained on other difficulties before the FINAL STAGE. Or AA instead to unlock them all?

==== X-Special Charts ====
Intro
To celebrate the 10 years of the series, all the previous boss songs received brand new CHALLENGE-only charts. These new versions are known as X-Special songs.
Although the EXTRA STAGE was introduced in DanceDanceRevolution, it only made a come-back in DDRMAX. Thus, only the boss songs from DDRMAX to EXTREME are exactly in the same order as they were in their original games. For the other games, the "hardest" songs from each game were selected instead.
A total of 8 set of 2 songs each from DanceDanceRevolution to EXTREME, with also 2 songs representing DanceDanceRevolution X were made. The first set was released on December 24th, 2008 and on March 16, 2009 for the remaining sets. Each set have one EXTRA STAGE and one ENCORE EXTRA STAGE song. To unlock them, special conditions related to their series of origin have to be fulfilled.
* EES CRITERA.
After a while, the original set of conditions were "relaxed". On October 1st, 2009, all the X-Specials songs were added for normal play and can be found in DanceDanceRevolution X folder.
