My wish list regarding certain features not available in DanceDanceRevolution.

Speed modifiers

  • x0 (Times zero). All arrows appear on top of the stepping zone. Alternative to STEALTH and 0.25x/BRAKE modifiers.

Noteskin modifiers

  • UNIFORM. Similar to RAINBOW but color of arrows other than on its 1/4 note is the same as that on its 1/4 note.
  • RAINBOW2. Similar to RAINBOW but no cycling of colors, white outlined, no transparency in middle part that shows white color in succession.
  • UNIFORM2. Similar to RAINBOW2 but color of arrows other than on its 1/4 note is the same as that on its 1/4 note.
  • NOTE2. Similar to NOTE but exactly uses the bundled NOTE noteskin in Windows PC program StepMania 3.9 plus Redux.
  • PLAIN. Similar to NOTE but color of arrows other than on its 1/4 note is the same as that on its 1/4 note.
  • PLAIN2. Similar to NOTE2 but color of arrows other than on its 1/4 note is the same as that on its 1/4 note.

Turn modifiers

Applies only on play style SINGLE.

  • SWAPLD. Swaps LEFT arrow column and DOWN arrow columns on the step chart.
  • SWAPLU. Swaps LEFT arrow column and UP arrow columns on the step chart.
  • SWAPLR. Swaps LEFT arrow column and RIGHT arrow columns on the step chart.
  • SWAPDU. Swaps DOWN arrow column and UP arrow columns on the step chart.
  • SWAPDR. Swaps DOWN arrow column and RIGHT arrow columns on the step chart.
  • SWAPUR. Swaps UP arrow column and RIGHT arrow columns on the step chart.
  • RANDOM. All arrows are in no particular order.

Life gauge modifiers

  • NORMALGFC. Similar to NORMAL but also deducts on GOOD.
  • NORMALPFC. Similar to NORMALGFC but also deducts on GREAT.
  • NORMALMFC. Similar to NORMALPFC but also deducts on PERFECT.
  • LIFE4GFC. Similar to LIFE4 but also deducts one life on GOOD.
  • LIFE4PFC. Similar to LIFE4GCF but also deducts one life on GREAT.
  • LIFE4MFC. Similar to LIFE4PFC but also deducts one life on PERFECT.
  • RISKYGFC. Similar to RISKY but also deducts one life on GOOD.
  • RISKYPFC. Similar to RISKYGCF but also deducts one life on GREAT.
  • RISKYMFC. Similar to RISKYPFC but also deducts one life on PERFECT.
  • GRADEGFC. Similar to GRADE but also deducts on GOOD.
  • GRADEPFC. Similar to GRADEGFC but also deducts on GREAT.
  • GRADEMFC. Similar to GRADEPFC but also deducts on PERFECT.
  • GRADELIFE4. Combination of GRADE and LIFE4.
    • Similar to life gauge on EXTRA STAGE used in MAX, MAX2, EXTREME, and SuperNOVA. Deducts only on either MISS or N.G.
  • GRADELIFE4GFC. Similar to GRADELIFE4 but also deducts on GOOD.
  • GRADELIFE4PFC. Similar to GRADELIFE4GFC but also deducts on GREAT.
  • GRADELIFE4MFC. Similar to GRADELIFE4PFC but also deducts on PERFECT.
  • GRADERISKY. Combination of GRADE and RISKY.
    • Similar to life gauge on ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE used in MAX, MAX2, and EXTREME. Deducts only on either MISS or N.G.
  • GRADERISKYGFC. Similar to GRADERISKY but also deducts on GOOD.
  • GRADERISKYPFC. Similar to GRADERISKYGFC but also deducts on GREAT.
  • GRADERISKYMFC. Similar to GRADERISKYPFC but also deducts on PERFECT.
  • EMPTY. Similar to NORMAL but starts filled down.
  • EMPTYRISKY. Similar to EMPTY but does not refill and deducts only on either MISS or N.G.
  • EMPTYRISKYGFC. Similar to EMPTYRISKY but also deducts on GOOD.
  • EMPTYRISKYPFC. Similar to EMPTYRISKYGFC but also deducts on GREAT.
  • EMPTYRISKYMFC. Similar to EMPTYRISKYPFC but also deducts on PERFECT.
  • LIFE8. Same as that being used in certain courses in DDR X but appears also during normal game play and not just on courses. Deducts only on either MISS or N.G.
  • LIFE8GFC. Similar to LIFE8 but also deducts one life on GOOD.
  • LIFE8PFC. Similar to LIFE8GFC but also deducts one life on GREAT.
  • LIFE8MFC. Similar to LIFE8PFC but also deducts one life on PERFECT.

Miscellaneous

  • Countdown timer. Similar to the one being used in jubeat. Must start at 99.99 in 0.01 decrements and ends at 00.00 .
  • TouchScreen. I am hoping the next AC model of DDR after its 20th anniversary model will include this one, just like the one in StepManiaX. For better navigation in music selection and options selection.
  • Wiring conduit protection platform. I am hoping the next AC model of DDR after its 20th anniversary model will include this one, just like the one in StepManiaX. Best if transparent and made of acrylic.
    • Owners of certain arcade centers make their own wiring conduit protection platform onto their existing ACs.
  • Screen recording module with USB port for inserting USB removable storage. I am hoping the next AC model of DDR after its 20th anniversary model will include this one.
    • There is at least one arcade center in the United States with this one installed.
  • Placement of arrows with other arrows.
    • My concern: Every UP arrow on step chart is placed under its next UP arrow. Noticeable on step charts if using x0.25 modifier.
    • Its solution: Every UP arrow on step chart MUST be placed above its next UP arrow.
