Can we please stop listing DDR songs that have a few unique overlays, or that use old DDR video clips to form a video, as having "unique videos"? I've looked at the older DDR songs that have "unique" videos in Disney Channel, and they really don't. We don't this for beatmania IIDX or GITADORA, so I'm confused why we still do this for DDR. --M.B. (talk) 09:33, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

  • While I agree, songs in post-SuperNOVA games that have their videos comprised of old DDR clips are unique, as in they are stored as one video file as far as I know. The same happens with some IIDX videos (i.e. This is Love and NZM), where the overlays are actually merged with the generic video (probably due to technical limitations with overlays), forming a unique video. I don't know if that is the case with GITADORA (i.e. for Egocentricity), will look for it.
    • NZM has a generic video but unique overlays. This is Love, Green Eyes, and D.C. Fish are stored as individual videos. Very different. Songs in IIDX or GITADORA with unique overlays but generic videos are not listed as having unique videos, and this should also apply to DDR. Waiting For Tonight having a half-second of animation in its DDR EXTREME US video does not make it a unique video. --M.B. (talk) 12:23, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

--- Second opinion ---

In my opinion, DDR songs without proper unique videos (as in, video files) should be excluded from this category (anything with overlays or sequence of background animations). --FinalOffset (talk) 15:26, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
Ditto, FinalOffset. --M.B. (talk) 09:38, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
