- According to Aoi, 十三不塔 is read as "juusan futou" and not its Japanese mahjong pronunciation of "shiisan puuta". [1][2]
- In Japanese mahjong, 十三不塔, translated as "13 unconnected tiles", is a local unrecognized Yakuman hand where a player collects all 13 tiles on the first draw such that there is only one pair and no number tiles closer than three apart from one another.
