Lyrics

You know, you got me like you like me
You know how to win me like Monopoly
This evening we're gonna play our favorite game
Let's see who'll be the first to cream

I'm a sucka
for you luva
It gets better when you let it when we get it when we bet it
Sucka luva, sucka luva, sucka luva, sucka luva

Come on bat your eyes, plink plink
Kiss me hard so I can't even think
If you hold me tightly just know I might
Not let you go lightly tonight

I'm a sucka
for you luva
It gets better when you let it when we get it when we bet it
Sucka luva, sucka luva, sucka luva, sucka luva

I'm a sucka
for you luva
It gets better when you let it when we get it when we bet it
Sucka luva, sucka luva, sucka luva, sucka luva

Song Connections / Remixes

None.

Trivia

  • Both Sucka Luva and Children of the Beat mark Nic McFiendish's debut in an arcade BEMANI game.
  • RemyWiki user RimeTM reached out to Harmony Machine, who provided Sucka Luva's lyrics along with explanation. The "cream" line is meant to tie into the "play you like Monopoly" line, as in to "cream someone at a game".
  • Sucka Luva was also featured on the group's Facebook page (under the ZONK alias) as part of their Tuesday Tune feature:
    • Before Frank Ocean's "sucka 4 love", Nic & Dave wrote "Sucka Luva" for DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). [...]a fan of the video game contacted us recently to clarify lyrics. It made me think: this is a story... Konami commissioned us to write a song in the style of Kesha. I was super sick (a virus knocked out 75% of my hearing for 3 mos), we were working in a temporary studio space while rebuilding Harmony Machine & intensely composing music for the musical Ozma of Oz, AND we had a newborn & toddler keeping life exciting. We dug deep to get our sassy on & made this happen the night before it was due. We may have played strip Scrabble after. Happy Tuesday! We hope music's making your world go 'round too.

Song Production Information
