Lyrics

Oooh...
Ha - ha - hey - yeah, ohh...

You make me wanna get up in the morning
You make me wanna stay up all night long
You make me wanna get up to be dancing
You make me wanna reach up to the sky
I feel so high

When I first met you, I already knew
Something special happened I never knew before
Was it in your eyes, feelings you can't disguise
Something's telling me that
Destiny knocked on my front door

It's better to believe than to let by
The happiness I feel inside
Don't let go
I know that you feel the same
Let passion grow
And it gets better day by day

You make me wanna get up in the morning
(Get up in the morning)
You make me wanna stay up all night long
(All night long)
You make me wanna get up to be dancing
(Get up to the dancing)
You make me wanna reach up to the sky
I feel so high

Trivia

Song Production Information

beatmania

This popular Monday Michiru hit from beatmania IIDX also makes an appearance here in 4thMIX. The chart has been ported over for 5 buttons, and feels a little different in terms of game play.

beatmania IIDX

dj nagureo

dj nagureo, who has been a big fan of Monday's music for a long time, included it into the game. A video clip of Monday is also synchronized with the game.
Truly, it's really a dream come true for me. With this song, I believe we have given you an idea of how beatmania will evolve in the future.
Monday Michiru is the daughter of jazz pianist Toshiko Akiyoshi, one of the pioneering club-style jazz-soul singers in Japan.
In the midst of the recent japanese R&B trend, we have chosen this song by charismatic vocalist Monday, and Shinichi Osawa, who is known for his production of songs by Charla, UA, and others.

DanceDanceRevolution

Monday Michiru has been active on international stages performing many different genres.
She is not only a vocalist, but also an actress who made her debut as an actress in the movie "Luminous Woman", which won many newcomer awards in 1987.
After the release of her album "mangetsu" in 1991, she continued to work with P.J. and others to produce new albums, and her musical activities have never stopped since.

Video Production Information

VJ GYO

This movie is an original video clip and has been aired on TV.
The original concept of beatmaniaIIDX included tie-ups with well-known artists, not only for songs but also videos, as in the case of this song.
We were looking for an artist that would match the club music-based world of the beatmania series, and when the idea of a tie-up with Monday Michiru came to fruition, djnagreo and I were overjoyed.
The dynamic singing part is presented in color, while the stylish posing part in black and white, conveying Monday Michiru's charm from two angles at the same time! It is a very nice movie.
