Biographical Information

STUDIO4°C Co., Ltd., or Kabushiki-Gaisha Sutajio Yondo Shii (株式会社スタジオよんどしい) in full Japanaese, is a Japanese animation studio founded in 1986 by Eiko Tanaka and Koji Morimoto. Although founded in 1986, its current name of STUDIO4°C wasn't established until 1999. In 2007 they joined the Japanese stock market.

STUDIO4°C initially did animation work for other projects like Macross 7, with their first major project being working on the sci-fi anthology series movie Memories in 1995. Since then the studio has expanded into television, music videos, 12 theatrical movies, OAVs, short films, and video game cut-scenes.

In BEMANI, STUDIO4°C were large contributors to the arcade and console pop'n music series, most notably in the mid-2000's to early 2010's. Although only two characters are known to have been animated by them, they're listed in the credits of several pop'n music titles. The most notable credit work was for pop'n music 12 いろは CS, where they worked as the production manager and animation producer of the game.
