Revamping

I been planning on revising this page and the songs pages, with the first thing being the composers/arrangers for the songs. In the credits, Masahiko Kimura and Hajime Takai are listed as the game composers and arrangers. I'll do some more research on DDR DDM (check if there was a website for the game and other various stuff), but for now would it be ok to list them -depending on the song- for this game as the composers or arrangers? - QueenZ (talk) 18:22, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

  • If you can find who composed/arranged each song, sure, go and add each credit. I doubt that both Kimura and Takai worked together on every song in the game, so only credit them if you can find evidence of who did each song. --FinalOffset (talk) 20:21, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
    • ok, will do. This N64 game would probably be counted as the first DDR with 3D stages, as the camera pans around the 2D sprite of the character. - QueenZ (talk) 20:51, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

Game Booklet information

Searching around and found this site, scans of the game booklet. This should be useful for the revamp / Would the comments in this booklet for some songs count as song comments? - QueenZ (talk) 20:51, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

  • Yeah, those would be fine for the Song Production Information section, as these songs don't have an OST for liner notes. --FinalOffset (talk) 03:36, 31 August 2020 (UTC)

Songs & game booklet comments

Total 22 songs; 14 licensed covers or arrangements and 8 "originals".

Of the 8 originals, Taiyo no rakuen, Parapara Venus, Savanna no mukou, Disco magic, Mickey fever, Goofy no rock'n'roll show, and Morty to Ferdie no carnival, are all either created with or inspired by a Disney theme in mind for this DDR game; as there's nothing from what I could find at the moment that these songs are based/covers of. Tap! Tap! Tap!, is a strange case: I feel like it could be an arrangement of an oldie tap dance track but unsure of what it might be.

For the two remaining Japanese covers without lyrics, I feel like its best to include the original English version lyrics (game size) before adding in the Japanese lyrics since the most likely case is translating into Japanese from the original. -QueenZ (talk) 02:27, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
