== Regarding the ongoing issues at Konami/Bemani ==
Some people are confused about what's happening at the Bemani department, after people figured out that Konami started to censor inhouse artists, as well as their names especially, from appearing in public media. This doesn't affect credits seen in-game at all, as it's a certain standard that Konami always meets in crappy situations like this (see MGS5).
Here's an ultra short recap of why this is happening and what it may cause:
* '''No one knows what's happening at all''', there are two rumors flying around at the moment. Whatever it is, what happened is BAD and it is possibly if not definitely catastrophic for Bemani as a whole.
* It's a situation that has started since mid 2017 and has only gotten much worse in these October weeks, so chances that that in the future things will become better again seem very uncertain. When Konami begins to censor its employees, it means that a red line has been crossed and won't backpedal about it. The way how it's unfolding is no different than the Kojima drama.
* Artists may either leave the company permanently (not an instant process from what I know) or some of them will just be moved to another division. Given how some artists are acting differently on social media (i.e. nekomata going to play a solo piano live in a friend's restaurant), the former option seems more likely to be true due to how certain Konami employees are so restricted in what they can do.
* Some of the artists are also sound directors of games. A game without a sound director almost always ends up in a limbo state. If all artists go, everything Bemani will go limbo mode, either dead games or games themselves becoming living soulless trashcans.
Situation may become clearer and clearer with the next game updates, even though it's pretty fair to be pessimistic about it since no other similar situation at Konami ended in a positive light, not to mention they might not even lose much in revenue by shutting Bemani down as all they care about is mobile and gambling. --[[User:UBerserker|UBerserker]] ([[User talk:UBerserker|talk]]) 22:21, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
