EXTRA STAGE became available on April 27th, 2018 for STANDARD Mode only. To access EXTRA STAGE, players have to fill the EXTRA GAUGE by obtaining more than 180.000 points combined between 1st and 2nd Stage, regardless of difficulty and level of the songs chosen (Lesson songs can also be used to access EXTRA STAGE).

While playing EXTRA STAGE, the life gauge is replaced with an EXTRA LIFE GAUGE, represented by 10 Hearts. Each BAD (not counting JUMP and DOWN notes) removes one Heart, and once all 10 Hearts are depleted players will fail the stage.

The unlock system is presented as a timetable divided into sets, each one featuring a different artist. During an artist's set, a new song will be available in the "NOW PLAYING" section. Each credit spent progresses the timetable and each set takes six credits to finish. Once a set is finished, the song can be unlocked for normal play by purchasing it with Stars (★). Like with regular unlocks, completing missions will discount the number of Stars required.

* '''SPARK FESTIVAL 2020''', which began on August 6th, 2020 and ended on September 22nd, 2020. The event was revived on April 21st, 2021, and ended on July 11th, 2021 (originally until June 27th, 2021), event progress is multiplied by 1.5. The AFTER PARTY section was added at the time of the revival and did not have the 1.5x progress multiplier.

* '''SPARK FESTIVAL 2021''', which began on July 29th, 2021 and ended on October 10th, 2021 (originally until September 12th, 2021, then until October 3rd, 2021). The ''DANCERUSH STARDOM × DanceDanceRevolution SUMMER DANCE CAMP'' event is a collaboration event between [[AC DDR A20|DanceDanceRevolution A20]] / [[AC DDR A20 PLUS|A20 PLUS]] and DANCERUSH STARDOM. During the event, stamps can be earned by playing either DanceDanceRevolution or DANCERUSH STARDOM. Three stamps are offered once per day, one for the game being played and two for the opposite game. By collecting a certain amount of stamps for a specific game, songs will be unlocked for the respective game.

From January 16th, 2020, the 2019 songs can be purchased with ★. [[Drop The Bounce]] requires [[Electric Dance System Music]] to be unlocked first, while [[Astrogazer]] requires Drop The Bounce to be unlocked.<br>

From January 27th, 2021, the 2020 songs can be purchased with ★. [[ALGORITHM]] requires [[This Beat Is.....]] to be unlocked first, while [[EGOISM 110]] requires ALGORITHM to be unlocked.<br>
