ARC SCORE can be considered a spiritual successor to PARALLEL ROTATION from [[AC SIRIUS|beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS]], with songs based around an older style. As is usual for EXTRA STAGE events, what songs you are allowed to play are based around the sum of the difficulty levels, DJ LEVEL and clear type of the first three songs of your credit. As an additional requirement, the song played on the FINAL STAGE must be from the style the song is related to. (The exception to this is the final song, which can only be accessed by playing other songs from ARC SCORE for the FINAL STAGE.)

Every time a song is cleared as the EXTRA STAGE, you get one ARC Element for it, which is used to unlock its charts outside the EXTRA STAGE as well as its frame and BGM.
