A long-time BEMANI composer, Jun Wakita joined KONAMI back in April 1998, when he enrolled in KCE School's newly established Tokyo branch. He also served as the notechart designer in [[AC pnm 3|pop'n music 3]], as well as various entries in the [[beatmania Information|beatmania / beatmania III]] series. wac's first game as a sound director was the pop'n music spinoff game [[AC pnm Animelo 2|pop'n music アニメロ2号]]. Starting the following year, he became the sound director of the main pop'n music series beginning with [[AC pnm 6|pop'n music 6]], a position he held for 13 years, until the end of [[AC pnm Sunny Park|pop'n music Sunny Park]]s run. wac continued to be a notechart designer in the series as well, and charted most of the anime covers in the series up to [[AC pnm 14|pop'n music 14 FEVER!]].
