* A remix of Kecak exists, called Everythin' gonna be all-kecak(Can I kick it? remix) by HALF LIFE on the album, D11.

Trivia
* Kecak marks John Robinson's debut in BEMANI.
* Kecak is a form of Balinese dance and music drama that developed in the 1930s in Bali, Indonesia.
* Kecak's video is the first to feature the digital stick man, which would later appear in all other videos by kjk@tksd (LESSON 5, DUE TOMORROW, and Come On).
* Kecak received a brand-new Double ANOTHER chart in beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD. This chart was carried to beatmania IIDX 11 IIDX RED CS.

* The dance that the characters do in the video for this song is spoofed in the Twelfth Style video.

The idea of Kecak came from the traditional tribal dance performed by the Balinese in Indonesia.
It actually translates to "trance dance" so it seemed somehow appropriate. The tribesmen work themselves up into a frenzy, all the while chanting the "chak chak chak" sounds that you can hear in Kecak.
Firstly, this is based on kecak kecak.
There's more kecak kecak. I can't get enough of it. It's still excessive.
It isn't a kecak dance at all, but I had an image of characters quickly moving, so I kept them in.
So anyways, I thought it was interesting for them to unexpectedly appear in the video without context, so other than kecak kecak, I summarized it in a normal and cleany way, and timed the rhythms as carefully as possible to get that feeling.

To summarize the total image, there was an error within a computer system that was working properly, as the kecak virus suddenly appeared, somehow made noise, and seemed to quickly scatter throughout the screen.
It has nothing to do with the real Bali kecak dance.
