The scratches of "Hey" sound very much like that of something from beatmania. When I think about this song, I imagine myself rolling down the coast of the American road, an image further enhanced with GOLI's illustrations for this song.

The Miami-based CD I have features sounds kind of that of a kazoo (or at least I thought), which I noticed in pictures I found of the music producer. If I were given the chance to draw the illustrations for this song again, I would've done it more resilient, dirtier, and smoothly, in addition to drawing the bottom portion of the people I drew.
