Biographical Information
Production I.G is a Japanese animation studio founded in 1987 by Mitsuhisa Ishikawa. It is located in Musashino, Tokyo, Japan. The I.G in the company's name comes from the combination of Ishikawa's last name and the first letter in the last name of character designer Takayuki Goto. Since its debut, Production I.G has been one of the biggest names in Japanese animation, their work ranging from television, OAVs, movies, and, since the early 2000's, video games cut-scenes.
In BEMANI, Production I.G have contributed their animation skills several times in the pop'n music series.
