  • The exact origin of LA BAMBA has never been discovered, with the earliest known recording of the song dating back to 1938, with Alvaro Hernández Ortiz's recording under the name of El Jarocho. The version best known is the 1958 version recorded by Ritchie Valens, which is the version MAMBO A GO GO's cover is based on.
  • The MAMBO A GO GO data credits LA BAMBA's artist as BE BORN STUDIO, although this artist is not shown in-game.
  • LA BAMBA's MAMBO A GO GO jacket can be seen on its DanceDanceRevolution banner.
