Notable new features

  • Allow two players to select different game options

Features only available when connected to the eamuse network

  • Weekly vote songs
  • Weekly top 20 played songs expert courses
  • All time top 20 played songs expert courses
  • Beat#3 expert courses (course data provided by the server)

Further features that require card usage:

  • Song score saving: Ex score, Clear status
  • Export score saving: Ex score, Clear state
  • Class mode score saving: Percentage, Clear state
  • Original expert courses: Own, random, (other) selection
  • Unlocks by play count

DJ Points are earned by fulfulling the following conditions per song

Secret Options

Samurai

Enables the extra stage samurai UI on an extra stage for beat phases post beat#1.

  • On the title screen, hit *VFEX* to make the options menu appear
  • Hold the *Effect* button and enter the following 14key sequence: 3, 1, 7, 3, 9, 1, 1, 2
  • If done correctly, the text *CMD: U A SAMURAI* should appear on the top left of the screen
  • If you also have Judge enabled, the text *CMD: JUDGE & SAMURAI* is visible instead

Judge

When enabled, shows the current judgement data during a song.

  • On the title screen, hit *VEFX* to make the options menu appear
  • Enter the 14key sequence: 7, 6, 9, 8

Expert View

Enables showing the list of songs of an expert course on expert mode.

  • Go to expert mode
  • For the player 1 side, hold *Start P1*. For player 2, hold *Start P2*
  • Enter the 7key sequence on the side you are playing: 2, 2, 1, 1, 3, 5, 3, 5, 7, 6

Beat phases

As with previous releases, beat phases are entered in the operator menu, by selecting "GAME OPTION" and holding Effect while entering a button sequence. Codes must be entered in order (you can't enter beat#3 unless you've entered beat#2). Beat phases can also be changed by updating the game to a newer revision. Different game binary revisions have different beat phases enabled.

beat#1

  • Default option, no key sequence.
  • Special EXTRA STAGE and ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE are available.

  • Key sequence: 9-1-7-7-12-10-1-2-11-6
  • 9th and 10th Dan are now selectable.
  • Special EXTRA STAGE and ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE no longer available.
