Trivia

  • YAKSHA is one of the boss songs of the second phase of the Lincle Kingdom event of beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle.
  • The name Neulakyussra is a variation of Narakasura, an asura in Hinduism.
    • Neulakyussra appears as an enormous, demon-looking mech with seven heads. It is controlled by STN, who is found inside the chest of Neulakyussra itself. The magic rings of STN appear once again, behind the creature.
      • The intro of the video shows the heads of Neulakyussra absorbing the glyphs of the defeated devils. At the end, STN, unmasked and with his armor broken in pieces due to his defeat in The Limbo, shows up and fuses himself with the beast.
      • When you miss a note, Neulakyussra will unleash energy bolts from its six dragon heads.
      • If you fail to Normal Clear YAKSHA, Neulakyussra will quickly fly toward the screen, with the mutated STN being suddenly shown like in the intro animations. Afterwards, he'll float away.
  • When YAKSHA is played as a boss stage in Lincle Kingdom, the arcade LED ticker displays <APOCALYPISI>NEULAKYUSSRA<JUDGEMENT>.
  • The identity of Neulakyussra was first revealed by L.E.D. during the Rainbow☆Rainbow Release Party held on 1/29/2012.
  • In Hindu and Buddhist mythology, Yaksha is the name of a broad class of nature-spirits, usually benevolent, who are caretakers of the natural treasures hidden in the earth and tree roots.
  • On Neulakyussra's glyph, it is possible to read "The Beast", which is written with a very small font at the side of the glyph.
    • The number "666" appears with an even smaller font around the glyph.
  • As YAKSHA is acknowledged as a song under the L.E.D.-G alias in the OST booklet, YAKSHA is thus the only L.E.D.-G song without vocal samples.
