• FANTASY is one of the only two licenses in beatmania IIDX history to be removed from the arcade and later revived. Both it and JIVE INTO THE NIGHT were revived in beatmania IIDX 9th style.
  • Unlike JIVE TO THE NIGHT, though, FANTASY was not revived again in beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD.
• At the time of its debut, FANTASY had the most notes of any Single chart in beatmania IIDX, with 1196 notes on its ANOTHER chart.

Well, I've been holding my own. No rest for the chart maker. This is Wac.
I'll be working on アニメロ2号 as well. IIDX players really seem like beatmania's notes. Pay attention to the ending! 4th style's that is.
Now then, FANTASY. I'm sure many of you have heard the original, but it's a really famous song by Earth, Wind & Fire.
It's been a while since I've worked on something to do with IIDX, but secretly I'm happy that I got to work on another Earth cover after that time with Brazilian Rhyme. (Actually, I stole the opportunity from that guy with the mustache. He got to do Kin-chan (Kinnikuman)'s song in アニメロ instead, so I guess it's alright.)
For the young ones who haven't heard the original song, please listen to the Earth version. It's hot. After all, it's in space.
By the way, the original album has Brazilian Rhyme on it too. It's a good bargain.
Now, let's talk about the chart. It's the DANCE EXPRESS Hi-speed version, so it's a bit crazy at times, but I tried to make it as approachable as possible... When I said that, KAGE asked me "Can you do it?".
Yes, I still couldn't do it. I'll do my best to practice though, so please forgive me.
Also, that mustache guy is connected to everything. He's a weirdo.
It's not important, but the other day I went to do karaoke with dj TAKA and dj nagureo and the other sound data analyzers, and they said "You're in charge of that one, aren't you?" and made me sing the original FANTASY.
The lyrics may not appear like they do in DDR or アニメロ, but you should try to sing it too. In the middle of playing it. It's impossible.

It's a bit rude to say, but Earth, Wind & Fire isn't part of the music I listen to, so when Wac and the others told me that it was a cover of one of their most famous songs, it didn't really hit me.
But after listening to it, I began to think it was really good (though maybe it's the Eurobeat arrangement that made it easy to get into).
It's sad and depressing, but you keep on wishing... It makes me think of a situation like that, and it really gets my heart beating.
