This is a bossa song that uses a Paulo Cesar Gomez scat performance to give it a certain color and nuance that isn't easily expressed by Japanese people. I think it gives it a nice feeling. The piano runs around the piece hectically as it changes key. I hope it makes you feel good as you play it.

T-Hirono, as part of our sound staff at the Osaka branch of KONAMI Studio, normally is the director of our Power Pro music. In fact, he's also been concerned with setting the music for songs like [[Sanae Shintani|Sana]]'s "White Lovers" for games like pop'n music GameBoy Edition in the past. "White Lovers" left us with a catchy melody, but this time he's given us a more polished melodious tune that's more to my liking *g* Among the usual energetic eurobeat and trance fare in IIDX, this is a more mature club music piece. First, the revival of the CS IIDX line! So, I finished this movie at the urging of the "original" CS IIDX production staff. I didn't think I would get into "dabudabu" so much so quickly, though. The most representative song of dabudabu scat is probably "Man and Woman". So, I didn't specifically aim for the images to be influenced by that song, but in the end I ended up having a lot of fragmentary images of a particular couple. There isn't any particular story behind the pictures. This is totally personal, but my own life has reached something of a turning point just as we were working on this movie, and it may have been influenced by that somehow. Song Production Information

T-Hirono

This is a bossa-styled song made particularly more sexy by Paulo Cesar Gomez's scat, which shows a nuance which Japanese people can't quite express, resulting in a nice feeling.
The piano quickly plays and frantically changes key during this song. By all means, I'd be happy if you can feel comfortable while playing this song!

Togo-chef

T-Hirono is part of the KONAMI Studio Naniwa sound staff, and is usually in charge of the music for Power Pro games.
But he actually used to compose songs for music games, such as the pop'n music GB version of Sana's song "White Lovers".
"White Lovers"' very catchy melody left an impression on me, but this is also a sophisticated and melodious song which I like (laughs). Which he created. IIDX contains energetic and loud mainstream genres such as trance/Eurobeat, so we purposely included "adult-styled club music".
This feels like an upgraded version of my BOSSA GROOVE from the original beatmania (5-keys), so let's reminisce on those days (laughs)...
That's right, I didn't forget that the "Da Ba Da Ba" scat and voice percussion is performed by Paulo Cesar Gomez, aka "PAULINHO"!
He's from Brazil, the home of bossa nova, but is currently living in Japan. He's a pianist who is very active in the JAZZ/BOSSA scene, and tours with "Lisa Ono".

Congratulations on the revival of the IIDX home version series!
Well, as a "former" IIDX home version production staff myself, I created this movie after the 8th style home version staff reached out to me, but I didn't think they'd suddenly ask me to make "Da Ba Da Ba".
The representative of "Da Ba Da Ba" means including a "couple" no matter what. So the visuals also naturally needed to be influenced by that, but as a result, fragmented images of a woman and couple continuously appear in this Da Ba Da Ba video. It isn't particularly conscious of any story.
This is completely personal, but my life reached a turning point during this time, which is perhaps somehow reflected in this movie as well. But the "Da Ba Da Ba" couple doesn't have a happy ending....
