Trivia

  • 鳥無き島にて could be unlocked in pop'n music Sunny Park from July 3rd, 2013, as part of Phase 1 of the WaiWai pop'n doubutsuen (わいわいポップン動物園) event.
  • 鳥無き島にて's songwheel genre, あさきの刺激ロック, reads as "ASAKI NO SHIGEKI ROCK".
  • The origin of 鳥無き島にて's title is likely from the Japanese phrase "Torinaki jima no koumori" (鳥なき島の蝙蝠), an idiom equivalent to the English "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king".
  • 鳥無き島にて's pop'n music character's name, Koumori otoko (こうもりおとこ) literally translates to "bat man".
  • 鳥無き島にて is available in コナステ GITADORA as part of コナステ GITADORA HISTORYパック vol.16.
    • It is the only new song of the pack.

Asaki-san: "This shall be a story about Koumori-Otoko and Koumori-Onna!"
So I came up with a story about a man who sends a woman to hell by coaxing her with sweet words.
But I couldn't understand the lyrics of Asaki's song, so I had to think of the character's story in the dark, and I was always on edge to make sure I didn't miss anything....
(I'd like to think that this is fine, since the character was seen by him in person...)
The voice in this song is even more handsome and badass than usual, which makes me nervous. Especially the preview part. It's so cool!

The summer attire of a badass gentleman, who might appear in a novel, is a white linen suit made by a tailor. Panama hats were called "chapeau" in those days.
You can see the exciting story in monochromatic cinema.

By the way, the character's name was at first written as "こうもり男", but one day it looked like "こう・もりお" (Kou-morio) and I couldn't get rid of the cloak of もりお's curse. So I changed all the names to hiragana to avoid such mistakes.
By the time I corrected it, it's already too late, isn't it? This is...
