== Backstory ==
He's a hyperactive kid who is always full of energy. He's crazy about ninjas - he's an expert shuriken thrower and has trained extensively in Jujutsu, and now wants to master the art of dance! But what he wants more than anything is to become a Ninja. He surfs the Net and reads magazines every day, researching modern-day Ninjas.

* JULIO was the first character who's design was finished in [[AC DDR X|DanceDanceRevolution X]].
* Despite being a selectable dancer in DanceDanceRevolution X2, JULIO was not included in [[CS DDR II|DanceDanceRevolution II]].
* JULIO is mentioned in a question in the BEMANI Exam on KONAMI's arcade game ''QUIZ MAGIC ACADEMY Kenja no tobira'' (クイズマジックアカデミー 賢者の扉).

JULIO was the first character to be finished for DDRX. We even used his screen output as the baseline for some parts. In a way, he was our benchmark. And we hear he's good at basketball, too.
