== Time Unlocks ==

The following songs will unlock over time. ONLY time in Arcade Mode counts towards time.

* CUTE: 2 hours
* NEW FOLK: 2.5 hours
* SEXY GIRLS: 3 hours
* J-R&B: 4 hours
* LOUNGE: 4.5 hours
* J-GARAGE POP: 5 hours
* AKIBA: 6 hours
* LIVE: 6.5 hours
* AVANTGARDE: 7 hours

== Arcade Mode Unlocks ==

Hidden songs can also be played early for Free Mode by meeting certain requirements in Arcade Mode as you play.

* To unlock CUTE, clear Beginner Mode.
* To unlock NEW FOLK, play as any new CS character (CINDY, Mrs.WILSON, SLYVIE, and even hidden CS characters like FLOWER) and clear NEW WAVE.
* To unlock SEXY GIRLS, play URBAN POP as your first stage, and then DISCO QUEEN or EURO QUEEN as your second.
* To unlock J-R&B, get a triple 7, triple 5, or triple 3 on the last column of your result screen or either your first or second stage. For example, 203 greats, 33 goods, and 3 bads would qualify.
* To unlock LOUNGE, clear NEO ACO with 80% or more greats, or two songs with 85% or more greats.
* To unlock J-GARAGE POP, select Rave girl as your character and clear any song as your first stage with 85% or more greats, then clear RAVE as your second stage with 85% or more greats.
* To unlock AKIBA, clear the Beginner Course in Marathon Mode.
* To unlock LIVE, clear the Half Course in Marathon Mode.
* To unlock AVANTGARDE, clear the Full Course on Marathon Mode.

== Button Commands ==

You can also temporarily unlock J-R&B and LOUNGE in Arcade Mode by entering the following codes at the title screen. Played songs will not be saved. The numbers correspond to the pop'n music controller from left to right.

*J-R&B: 
**On a pop'n controller: 8, 6, 4, 7, 9, 6, 4, 1. Afterwards, hold down 2 as you press Start for ARCADE.
**On a Dreamcast controller: B Y Y ↓ R Y ↑ L. Afterwards, press the Start button while pressing ← as you enter ARCADE.

* LOUNGE:
**On a pop'n controller: 2, 4, 2, 4, 2, 4, 2, 6. L1 ↑ L1 ↑ L1 ↑ L1 △ ↑ Then press the Start button as you enter ARCADE.
**On a Dreamcast controller: ↑ ← ↑ ← ↑ ← ↑ ← Y. Then press the Start button as you enter ARCADE.
