Ma-You (真友) is a Japanese producer and vocalist. She started playing musical instruments at the age of three and began singing in junior high school, influenced by Whitney Houston and other vocalists. Later on, while attending a music college, she passed the Berklee Japan Audition, and traveled to the United States for half a year as a synthesizer student, while also taking vocal lessons at a school during that time.

After returning to Japan and graduating, Ma-You joined Magic One Corporation, a Japanese music production company, until her departure in early 2004.
