''An 18 year old girl that is enrolled in a clothing design school. She is a big fan of [[Kiyotaka Sugimoto|SUGI]] and is in love with his sweet singing voice from Shibuya. She is crazy for the British rock bands of the 80s, too.''

RIE♥chan is one of the series' original 13 rival characters. She and [[SANAE-chan|SANAE♥chan]] are best friends, occasionally making cameos in songs together.

== Trivia ==
* RIE♥chan was named '''CARRIE''' in the Asian English release of pop'n music.
* Similar to JUDY and [[Mary]], RIE♥chan and SANAE♥chan had the same animations in the early games. (In the case of [[AC pnm 4|pop'n music 4]], they're literally the same sprite except for the color palette.)
