4/19/06 - Made a few changes to the lyrics that seemed to be pretty common-sense changes if you consider them in context.  Careful listening to the background vocals can also verify certain things that I changed (i.e., "start talking" instead of "stop talking").

Sorry if I'm stepping on grounds beyond my authority here but I really have to disagree with the interpretation of what is said at 0:31 (And the masks/masses start/stop talking). The IIDX RED soundtrack booklet has "masks stop talking". I don't understand is why it's been figured common sense to go with "masses stop talking". I listened to it with different EQs on, vocal booster and bass reducer, and there is no evidence that "masses stop talking" is right.

Masses vs. Masks is solved at 0:34 during the sound off. Because the baseline doesn't make a beat there during the echo, the 'sk' sound can come out clearly. Also, it doesn't sound like it's a two syllable word that's being said there, making the single syllable "masks" much more likely to be correct.

Stop vs. Start is a little more unclear. At 0:28 he says the "not" in "not until the day" with his short 'o' sound. And right after that he says "walking" with a very precise short 'a' sound. So during the problem word, it's more evident he used the same short 'o' sound as he did with "not". The only time start would rhyme or sound a lot like stop is with a heavy accent, one that the singer does not appear to have.
