As an example, for this song I strengthened each of the five snares and adjusted their attack time in order to make the sound thicker and heavier. For this song, I took a specific approach to create its fusion sound. I combined a "dance" beat with a "Koto", which is a Japanese traditional instrument, and used them as the key sounds. In addition, I contrived its melody to have a feeling of oriental melancholy. I also use repetitive, catchy, phrases so the song definitely lends itself to dancing! The R&B sound has become much more popular among the Japanese music scene and has often been used in games. In the DDR series, we usually polish and arrange the sounds in a way that satisfies the desires of the user and makes the song more familiar for the product.

If I have a chance to make a full version of this track, I would accentuate the Koto part by arranging it with other Japanese instruments. This would be my dream and I'm hoping to release it someday in the future.
