Motoi Sakuraba is a Japanese musician known for his numerous contributions in video games, including the Valkyrie Profile, Tales, Star Ocean, Golden Sun, Dark Souls, and Baten Kaitos series. He is currently affiliated with the TEAM Entertainment label.
Motoi uses to compose progressive rock with complex rhythms, oftenly including jazz-like improvisations. In BEMANI, he has been exclusively featured in the GuitarFreaks & DrumMania series, with all of his songs being EXTRA/ENCORE STAGE songs.
