Song Production Information
Power Of Nature
Hello! It's QuoN.
A representation of Jadeite's silently terrifying yet strikingly majestic nature, blended with a scientific techno sound crafted in a laboratory, accented with the voices of a man who has become dignified with age. Through all of these elements, I've managed to fully express his character image.
Even in a techno song, the shine of one's lapis, and the transience of that shine, are expressed through the song's break portions and ending. While composing, I kept in mind the motions of one's hands; the wild synth track during the middle portions is one I found enjoyable to play to.
By the way, the song's title comes from the word "kuon", which means "eternity". While composing the last piano phrase, I had a particular scene in mind I wanted to illustrate.
That scene is Jadeite after being defeated by RETSU and his friends, as his lapis shatters in slow motion. He open his eyes and stares up at the sky, as his lapis crumbles to shards before him.
That image of Jadeite reliving his memories, remembering his past as it fades from existence, is what inspired this song’s title. Both the impact and beauty of the word "eternity".
For the midboss of a still-continuing story, I feel that I have created a suitably striking song.
