:Not disputing that Hommarju has not explained the name of Wowie Zowie, hence the original re-edit to remove a direct link connecting it to Zappa and Pavement. A Google search indicates that popularity of the phrase Wowie Zowie overwhelmingly traces to Frank Zappa, though the word "zowie" traces back to around 1902 according to Merriam Webster. The trivia gives extra context on the usage of "wowie zowie" in modern context, much like the trivia for Cytokinesis explains the usage of "cytokinesis" in modern context. The difference between the Poochie trivia and Wowie Zowie! is that kors k has named songs/aliases after Simpsons stuff in the past (ay carumba!!!, remixing the theme song, Itchy and Scratchy alias, etc.). Hommarju, meanwhile, has yet to make a reference to Wowie Zowie!'s origin anywhere AFAIK. I'll axe the trivia anyway. --M.B. (talk) 04:21, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
(The Cytokinesis/Wowie Zowie! comparison makes zero sense, by the way. There's a difference between a scientific term for something and a song title reference.)
