When I was tinkering with Cheat Engine and PCSX2 I noticed that a lot of songs have extra charts. This game is a chart mess
When I was tinkering with Cheat Engine and PCSX2 I noticed that a lot of songs have extra charts. Some of them are known in some way in their respective songs and some appear to be not fitting, even being repeated in other songs. Apparently this game's devs were trying charts with different songs thinking ahead as they aren't in other games. I extracted the SSQ files and I'm still comparing and finding stuff, but some examples are:
- Love Shine has its famous hidden Challenge chart here as well.
- Dynamite Rave has the Challenge chart that debuted in DDR Extreme AC.
- Dive into the Night has extra Challenge charts, both in Singles and Doubles. They are Kakumei's Challenge charts.
- CRASH! has extra Challenge charts, both in Singles and Doubles. They're Drop Out (From Nonstop Megamix)'s charts.
- There's many Oni-Only songs that share different full sets of Doubles charts.
- One of them is the one that was "rescued" years later as Kind Lady (Interlude)'s Doubles set. This set of charts is of course in Kind Lady (Interlude) but is also repeated in other songs, like in Look to the Sky (Trance Mix) and Do It Right (80's Electro Mix)
(This is a WIP, please bear with me. I have to document the other "common" sets of charts)

- One thing i'd like to add
It seems Kind Lady (Interlude)'s extra charts come from Drop The Bomb (SySF Mix)
Someone on ZIv pointed it out and it seems to be the case

- You're absolutely right, the steps are identical but end in measure 48 while they continue in Drop The Bomb (SySF Mix). Gotta change what I added in Kind Lady's Interlude page <.<;

In the sound data for the game there's the following full versions:
- Do It Right (Harmonized 2Step Extended Mix)
- Do It Right (80's Electro Extended Mix)
- Feelings Won't Fade (Extended Trance Mix)
- Look To The Sky (Trance Extended Mix)
What plays in the Information screen is Kind Lady (Funk Disco Extended Mix). Perhaps there's a way to play the others in some way? --Wanny (talk) 20:56, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
