<pre>We wrote these plans took the order the architecture and followed them to the end
<pre>We wrote these plans
until the gears ground cold and relentless there was no remorse we had none we kept on
Took the order
with no trace of a regret I never saw any blood no soul for the body watch them turn her
The architecture and followed them to the end
scab covered skin into stone like a coal in the sky searching for the dawn for the last
Until the gears ground cold and relentless
time bloated with white eyes wide we've come to an understanding you lose I profit high
There was no remorse
noon and there ain't no secrets no more excuses now our number's up let them lead us by

the throat now just smile while the rope pulls tighter guilty is an understatement the
We had none we kept on
hourglass is never right side up and all the time we try to tear the script up forgetting
With no trace of a regret
all the sour for the sweet the paragraph has never been so empty</pre>
There was no remorse

No soul for the body
Watch them turn her
Scab covered skin into stone
Like a coal in the sky
Searching for the dawn
For the last time

You lose - I profit
High noon and there ain't no secrets

Lyrics

We wrote these plans
Took the order
The architecture and followed them to the end
Until the gears ground cold and relentless
There was no remorse

We had none we kept on
With no trace of a regret
There was no remorse

I never saw any blood
No soul for the body
Watch them turn her
Scab covered skin into stone
Like a coal in the sky
Searching for the dawn
For the last time
Bloated with white eyes wide

We've come to an understanding
You lose - I profit
High noon and there ain't no secrets
No more excuses

Now our number's up
Let them lead us by the throat
Now just smile while the rope pulls tighter... tighter
What we've come through is an understatement

The hourglass is never right side up
And all the time we try to tear the script up
Forgetting all the sour for the sweet
The paragraph has never been so empty

Song Connections / Remixes

Song Production Information

Ben and Chris (The Dillinger Escape Plan)

Being big fans of Konami games, we are extremely happy to be a part of the newest versions of GUITARFREAKS and DRUMMANIA. We can remember our first trip to Japan and having the pleasure of playing earlier versions of these games in the Arcade. These Games are not only fun but a great way for young people to start looking at music in a more intricate and educational way. Thanks Konami!
