** I figured the IIDX version was just a port of the pop'n music keysounded version, which came out a few months after DDR SuperNOVA. DDR songs always sound different when keysounded since they're rarely made at the same time as their keysounded counterparts (exception: DDR 5th/IIDX 5th style and DDRMAX2/ IIDX 7th style, which came out the same day). | ** I figured the IIDX version was just a port of the pop'n music keysounded version, which came out a few months after DDR SuperNOVA. There's actually a melody/rhythm difference at 1:15. --[[User:Yindesu|Yindesu]] ([[User talk:Yindesu|talk]]) 21:19, 6 September 2020 (UTC) |

Short Edit?
- Out of curiosity, but is the IIDX version of HONEY PUNCH, a short edit of the long version?
I'm asking due to the IIDX ver. being slightly rearranged and a few minutes more (about 2 to 3 mins/total length: 1:48) versus the pop'n music/DanceDanceRevolution ver. (1:45).
The long version of HONEY PUNCH was released (on the BeForU II album) a year before the beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD OST. Any thoughts? - QueenZ (talk) 07:31, 7 February 2017 (UTC)- I figured the IIDX version was just a port of the pop'n music keysounded version, which came out a few months after DDR SuperNOVA. DDR songs always sound different when keysounded since they're rarely made at the same time as their keysounded counterparts (exception: DDR 5th/IIDX 5th style and DDRMAX2/ IIDX 7th style, which came out the same day).
- I don't really hear any differences. --M.B. (talk) 07:37, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- It's actually IIDX 14 OST and DDR SuperNOVA OST that share a version of HONEY PUNCH arranged by NAOKI MAEDA & 鳴瀬シュウヘイ. pop'n music 14 OST version sounds different, and doesn't credit 鳴瀬シュウヘイ. There's actually a melody/rhythm difference at 1:15. --Yindesu (talk) 21:19, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
