Song Connections / Remixes
* きたさいたま2000 is part of the 2000 series of songs, and is the second in the "Saitama 2000" sub-series.
* A slower version of きたさいたま2000, titled きたさいたま200, appears in 太鼓の達人13 as a set of Ura charts for きたさいたま2000, and as a standalone song in 太鼓の達人 (0).

Trivia
* きたさいたま2000 is the final boss of 太鼓の達人ぽ〜たぶる2's Story mode. This is reflected in its ID ("psplsb" stands for "PSP Last Boss").
** きたさいたま2000 is the only song in the Saitama 2000 sub-series to not have an ID starting with "rot".
* The Kita-Saitama District (北埼玉郡) was a district located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan prior to its dissolution in March 23rd, 2010. Its three towns were Kisai (騎西), Kitakawabe (北川辺), and Otone (大利根), all of them mentioned in きたさいたま2000's lyrics.
* タカハシ, who wrote the charts for きたさいたま2000, has admitted that he is unable to pass the song's Oni chart.
* Due to a glitch in 太鼓の達人 ドンカッ!と大盛り七代目, if きたさいたま2000 is played on Yonbai (4x speed) mode, the game will crash while trying to load the last note. This is due to the note (which usually scrolls at 8x speed) reaching a total speed multiplier of 32x speed, which the game cannot handle. This was fixed in all other games.
* きたさいたま2000 was the 太鼓の達人 series crossover song of the first Tenkaichi otogesai Zenkoku issei nintei taikai (天下一音ゲ祭 全国一斉認定大会) event.
