Osamu Kubota
Istanbul is a city where Asia and Europe meet.
When you cross the bridge of the Golden Horn inlet, and enter Sultanahmet (an old town), you can suddenly see illusions of people's hearts on the maze-like slopes.
The Quran echoing in the wine-colored evening is the kickoff to fast-moving fantasies.
This time, I tried to create this song with the unusual, young drum'n'bass groove. But it's Osamu's style, so it became piano'n'bass (non-bass?). The irregular beat in 7/4 time was inspired by progressive Turkish military bands.
Also, the strings are tuned to a Turkish music scale instead of the average music scale, so I'd be happy if you can feel a Middle East scent.
I dare you to play the chords in the speedy piano section with only your right hand, not your left hand.
Once again, I'd be happy if you can feel an invitation to travel from my song.
