* Added IC card support. The card used is different from the e-AMUSEMENT PASS used in other regions, and would later be used in [[jubeat China 3rd|乐动魔方 全国对战版]]. An offline unlock system is implemented, with the data being saved to the card itself. However, an Internet ranking system is provided using a 16-digit code given at the end of each credit when played with IC card inserted, similar to the older DDR games and Taiko. Players can enter this code onto the now-defunct [http://www.jubeatcn.com] to participate in the ranking.

New touch markers and songs are available for unlock through earning Achievement Points (AP), as in jubeat ripples. However, since this is the first version in China with an unlock system (unlike Japan which has the first jubeat, having more time to earn achievement points), the point requirements have been lowered. Since all the backgrounds are unlocked, the 4 songs to be unlocked at White SS in the original unlock system is scattered between White SS and Bronze Ocelot levels.
