- House Of Fun was originally recorded under the title Chemist Facade, without the chorus. However, the head of Stiff Records demanded that the band add a chorus to ensure its commercial success. Instead of rerecording the entire song, the new "Welcome to the House of Fun" refrain was overdubbed onto an edited version of the original recording.
