Hirofumi Taniguchi (born June 12th, 1967 in Hiroshima, Japan) is a former in-house KONAMI artist who provided a few songs for the early beatmania series. Prior to those games, he was part of KONAMI's music group Konami Kukeiha Club since the early 90's; his earliest known separate work was for the 1993 Super Famicom game ''Mouryou Senki Madara 2''. He was also a large contributor to the first ''Suikoden'' game. Along with Masanori Adachi and Taro Kudo, he was part of the music group THELONIOUS MONKEES, who together provided two songs for [[AC bm III|beatmania III]].

Hirofumi left KONAMI sometime in the mid-1990's to work for Love-de-Lic, Inc. After the company went bankrupt in 2000, he started composing music for Skip Ltd., made up of ex-Love-de-Lic, Inc. staff members.
