CastHour is beatmania IIDX 29's CastHour unlock event, which will begin on December 16th, 2021. It will appear with one player only. [[e-amusement]] is required to play the event.

When the event begins, right before music select, you choose a PLATFORM with the turntable. Once you choose your PLATFORM, you then choose one of a certain amount of songs separated into what the game calls "channels". You'll also below you five songs labeled "Recommend Channel". Playing these songs will add to a gauge that builds up after your game session is over. Once you reach certain points in the gauges, you'll unlock the NORMAL, HYPER, and ANOTHER charts of that song in that respective order, as well as LISNA. One more channel will be revealed after you unlock all previous ones; complete that to end the PLATFORM.
