'''''S2TB Files7: Battle Royale''''' is the seventh release in the S2TB Files series of albums produced by [[Kosuke Saito|kors k]], released during the ''Comic Market 92'' event. With the exceptions of the intro and outro, all of the tracks on the album are collaborative works with other artists, from long-established names in the doujin scene to newer faces and even members of [[beatnation Records]]. As such, there are a large variety of genres featured in the album, including techno, hardcore, drum'n'bass, rave, and so on.

* Venom marks Toshiyuki Kakuta's first appearance outside of KONAMI. In exchange for his and Sota's involvement with the album, both of their tracks would remain property of KONAMI.

* A shortened and censored edit of Phalanx appeared later in Andamiro's ''Pump it Up XX 20th Anniversary Edition'' as Phalanx "RS2018 edit" and attributed to Cranky.
