Profile

Daisuke Asakura is a Japanese pop artist, songwriter and producer from Tokyo. In 1987, he was spotted by Japanese producer Tetsuya Komuro, who recruited Daisuke to work with him. In 1995, Daisuke Asakura signed Takanori Nishikawa under his alias, T.M.Revolution. The two created songs for the anime of Rurouni Kenshin and to the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED franchise. Daisuke Asakura built his reputation as a composer by producing singles and albums for J-POP vocalists such as Yosuke Sakanoue, Kinya Kotani, Daichi Kuroda, Akiko Hinagata, Yuki Kimura, FayRay, Takashi Fujii and groups such as, Onapetz, Pool Bit Boys, Lazy Knack, Run&Gun and The Seeker.
