Beat phases

Beat phases are not server side controlled on this version of the game, yet. Each phase is unlocked either via a secret code (see further down) or by updating the game to a newer revision. Different game binary revisions have different beat phases enabled.

Secret Options

Samurai

Enables the extra stage samurai UI on an extra stage for beat phases post beat#1.

• On the title screen, hit *VFEX* to make the options menu appear
• Hold the *Effect* button and enter the following 14key sequence: 3, 1, 7, 3, 9, 1, 1, 2
• If done correctly, the text *CMD: U A SAMURAI* should appear on the top left of the screen
• If you also have Judge enabled, the text *CMD: JUDGE & SAMURAI* is visible instead

Judge

When enabled, shows the current judgement data during a song.

• On the title screen, hit *VEFX* to make the options menu appear
• Enter the 14key sequence: 7, 6, 9, 8

Expert View

Enables showing the list of songs of an expert course on expert mode.

• Go to expert mode
• For the player 1 side, hold *Start P1*. For player 2, hold *Start P2*
• Enter the 7key sequence on the side you are playing: 2, 2, 1, 1, 3, 5, 3, 5, 7, 6

Beat phases

As with previous releases, beat phases are entered in the operator menu, by selecting "GAME OPTION" and holding Effect while entering a button sequence. Codes must be entered in order (you can't enter beat#3 unless you've entered beat#2). Beat phases can also be changed by updating the game to a newer revision. Different game binary revisions have different beat phases enabled.

beat#1

• Default option, no key sequence.
• Special EXTRA STAGE and ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE are available.
