Making an unexpected reappearance, it's onoken.

This is the first time I've produced 2 songs for the same game, and my first instrumental song since my pop'n debut Stories.
I wanted to put all of my energy into writing a song, and as soon as I saw the character's rough sketch, ZADAMGA naturally came forward.

A sinister aura hidden within the serenity,
The fiery aggression hidden within those expressionless eyes,
The balance between light and dark in a gothic world...

Trying to forget the usual restrictions of a boss song, but unconsciously adding more and more notes, strengthening the song's image... I had a lot of trouble getting those things down right.
The song didn't have a designated level, so I ended up completely overflowing it with sounds.
I'm not sure whether I managed to get it under control in the end; did you all understand it?

Character Information

It's the lapis-loving, vanishing Phantom.

I had two ideas for this character, a reptile or a bat; onoken made the decision for me.
When he said that the song image easily came to mind when looking at the design, I was very happy!

At the beginning, I decided that the character image would be "kaleidoscope", and that the motifs would be "garlands" and "bats".

The way that kaleidoscopes shift and change so beautifully reminded me of a gemstone, but I had trouble figuring out how to express the theme of gemstones through this character.
The small floating parts around their body give a nice impression, and I felt the way they spin around would look nice when animated.

Originally they wore much less clothing; but since this is nice, friendly pop'n, I ended up making the costume more decent.
Although it may seem a bit suggestive at first, if you take a proper look they're properly dressed.

The character I wanted to create was a calm and silent type who could all of a sudden become breathtakingly fearsome. I made the charm point their bright red tongue, and the way they lick the red lapis.
The 2P colours are further based on the kaleidoscope image.
