- Doigts de Fatima -ファティマの掌- is the only Osamu Kubota beatmania IIDX song with female vocals.
- "Doigts de Fatima" is literally French for "fingers of Fatima", which is also the name of a north African fried pastry appetizer (sometimes spelled "Doigts de Fatma"). However, the Japanese subtitle translates to "Palm of Fatima".
- Doigts de Fatima -ファティマの掌- is the last song in the beatmania IIDX CS series to be the default song in Free Mode, since beatmania IIDX 7th style CS and beyond have all but the hidden songs playable by default in Free Mode.

In the summer of 2001, I was in an oasis called Tozeur, located in the middle of the Sahara Desert. The temperature was 42 degrees. At the door of a small restaurant called "The Little Prince", I found a hand ornament with a mysterious pattern. I felt as if I could see through my entire heart from that big palm, which was said to be shaped like the hand of the prophet's daughter Fatima.
This summer, a collaboration with Sizzle Ohtaka finally materialized... The title was immediately decided. Inspired by her voice already recorded in Japan and included in my iBook, I finished the details while traveling to Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and France.
The game's difficulty level isn't that competitive, so please carefully listen to Sizzle's singing on this song. She's already surpassed the human world.
