North American release date

Do we know if that's an actual North American release, or if it's just Round1 getting the Japanese version? --Thunderbird (talk) 20:28, 14 February 2018 (UTC)

  • DANCE RUSH had already language options at JAEPO, one of them being English --UBerserker (talk) 22:36, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
    • Seeing comments that the Round1 version is indeed the JP version, which means no STANDARD mode. The other language options are likely for the various other Asian regions, since there's a few English speaking places that have the Asian version of DDR A, for example. It's not at the Round1 near me yet, so I can't personally verify this. --Thunderbird (talk) 18:53, 28 April 2018 (UTC)

Blow Up temporary removal

It appears that the mission for clearing Blow Up has been automatically marked as completed following its removal from the game. I don't remember playing it, but when I checked the mission status for Where's the Party At?, both missions were marked as complete (I have played Visionary). In addition, the song isn't even listed on the score data section of the Dance Rush site (whereas DDR A does have removed songs listed in its score data section). Whether this will undo itself when the song returns is another question entirely though. --Thunderbird (talk) 04:12, 14 May 2018 (UTC)

  • That's the one song the label has never officially released, also. It's strange how from Spinning Record Konami has instead licensed stuff from a seemingly unknown label with artists that have absolutely zero background whatsoever. --UBerserker (talk) 10:05, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
  • Given that Konami mentions the reason for BLOW UP's removal as "a mistake on the recorded data", it might be that they added earlier/wrong charts for the song; that would explain its removal from the MUSIC DATA section. I wouldn't be surprised if there's another reason behind its removal, though. --FinalOffset (talk) 15:27, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
  • I saw "Clear Blow Up" mission replaced by "Clear Small Steps". I did not see it automatically marked as cleared - I had to clear Small Steps again to get the discount. I did not play Blow Up before its removal, for your information. --Macmillan333 (talk) 22:42, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
    • The mission might have been changed by now, since an update would have been required for the new songs, they could have snuck a mission change in there as well. --Thunderbird (talk) 23:19, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
    • Yeah, it was changed on the May 17th update. --FinalOffset (talk) 23:20, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
      • And the mystery is solved: FARM RECORDS upped the unreleased songs on youtube and the BLOW UP they sent to DR was a completely different track (I don't think Konami could ever screw up on something like this, especially given how shady and unknown FARM RECORDS is). This of course justifies the removal from the score data section, since if it's revived it'd be another song with newly-made charts (paying money to play a 1:00 long song lool). --UBerserker (talk) 21:27, 1 June 2018 (UTC)

Unlock mission list sorting

I'm not sure how the table is being sorted, so I'm not going to update it with LIT, but I'm told it's a 20 star unlock. Don't know about missions. --Thunderbird (talk) 03:14, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

Score XXXX points missions

These aren't well explained anywhere. Anyone have any idea what that actually means? --Thunderbird (talk) 13:28, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

  • Notice how when scores are listed, they use "." instead of ","? Well, that's because it's really a 100 point system with decimals. Those whole numbers, rounded down, are what are accumulated for those types of missions. --RimeTM (talk) 20:14, 26 January 2019 (UTC)

Spark Festival songs made available for stars

I'm seeing the songs from 7/18 listed as 80 stars, so it seems like they all got their costs doubled. Perhaps this will be true for the rest of the set? --Thunderbird (talk) 00:59, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

  • Yeah, that seems likely, but I think Garuda will keep its cost of 200 stars. We'll see. --FinalOffset (talk) 23:30, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

ONE MORE EXTRA STAGE

If Konami reuses this mechanic for other events, it may be necessary to split it out to its own section. Also, some of what I wrote in there was based on bemaniwiki with Google Translate, as I failed the OMES within seconds. --Thunderbird (talk) 04:12, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

Song omissions from the Chinese version

Apparently (according to Bemaniwiki), a number of the licenses aren't present in the Chinese version. Should we note these similar to the songs not in the US releases of DDR A/A20? --Thunderbird (talk) 17:54, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

  • Good catch, added a table for them on the page. Thanks! --FinalOffset (talk) 21:03, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

Moving Star unlocks' table

Given how big the table for the Star unlocks section is, I'm thinking on moving it to a sub-page in order to clean up the page a bit. Thoughts? --FinalOffset (talk) 20:00, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Probably be a good idea. That table will likely get larger as time goes on, at least until Konami announces another DR game, whenever that is. --Thunderbird (talk) 03:50, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Done, moved the Discover Missions' table too. --FinalOffset (talk) 14:51, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
