Profile

Koji Takigawa is a Japanese DJ who started his career in 1995. He made his major debut with Sony Music in 2002 as a member of SEAMONATOR & DJ TAKI-SHIT (シーモネーター&DJ TAKI-SHIT). His arrangements are based on the '90s New York sound, influenced by PETE ROCK and DJ SPINNA, mixed with Japanese pop. He has worked with artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki, Thelma Aoyama, FUNKY MONKY BABYS, CHEMISTRY, Seiko Matsuda, mihimaru GT, among others.

In BEMANI, his only contributions are remixes of WaveGroup covers for beatmania (2006).

Trivia

  • "DJ TK-ST" is taken from Koji's DJ TAKI-SHIT alias, likely used in beatmania (2006) to avoid profanities on in-game text.
